Purpose of data processing

Protocol of the visited web pages

Scope

The protocol is based on log files, stored on the web server. The following data is included in the protocol:

  • IP address of your computer
  • Website address
  • Timestamp
  • Referrer URL, what page are you coming from
  • Used web browser
  • Current language/country
  • Used operating system

The temporary storage of the IP address is necessary in order to deliver the website to the user’s computer.

Storing the data is required for for evidentiary purposes and law enforcement (art. 6 par. 1 lit. e GDPR). Additionally our legitimate interest lies in the stability and security of our website (art. 6 par. 1 lit. f GDPR).

Deleting

Your IP address is deleted or anonymized after 4 weeks. The rest of the protocol is used for the statistical analysis.

Cookies

Cookies are small text files, stored on your computer by a web server, during your visit on a web page. On the next visit of the web page, the stored cookies are provided to the web server by your web browser. Cookies are an external data storage of a web server.

Technically necessary cookies contain your settings, e.g. preferable language, content of a shopping basket, access credentials to a secured web page, or an information that you don't wish to be tracked (do-not-track-cookie).

Deleting

Newsletter, advertising emails

Scope

We store your contact data to inform you about updated contents, you've subscribed.

After subscribing the newsletter we send you an email with a confirmation link (double opt-in). By clicking the link, you authorize your subscription. We collect the timestamp, your email address and your requested subscription status.

The newsletter can contain tracking links. Each tracking link is unique and it let us identify you, after you click the link. Due to the tracking links we can estimate contents, which are especially interesting to you and better fit our offer to you.

By subscribing to our newsletter you explicitly grant your consent for processing your data in accordance with art. 6 par. 1 lit. a GDPR.

We log each change of the subscription status for evidentiary purposes (art. 6 par. 1 lit. f and art. 7 par. 1 GDPR).

You can always withdraw your permission concerning the newsletter subscription for the future.

Deleting

Your email address is removed from the newsletter, immediately after you unsubscribe.

The subscription protocols are removed after 3 years.

For fulfillment of highest purchase security, we do not sell our products by ourself, but we cooperate with professional e-commerce companies.

If the technological provisions allow for it, you have the right to receive your personal data in a common, machine-readable format, to be transferred directly to another data controller (art. 20 GDPR).

In some particular situations (art. 21 par. 1 GDPR), you have the right to object to the processing of your personal data on the basis of data processing in the public interest (art. 6 par. 1 e GDPR), or data processing to safeguard a legitimate interest (art. 6 par. 1 f GDPR).

In case, you explicitly granted consent for processing of personal data (e.g. by subscribing a newsletter), you have the right, at any time, to revoke your consent to the future processing of those data (art. 21 par. 2 GDPR).
